Hello, I'm glad you're here.

I’m Erin, a Somatic Therapist based in Whitefish, MT.   I work with people who are going through it and want a place where they can explore this messy, hard, beautiful and sometimes heartbreaking experience of being human beyond words alone. My clients come to therapy because they just don’t know where they fit in this world, they are feeling stuck or unsure, things are heavy and they are wanting more but feel like many aspects of their lives aren’t going where they want them to or are just on repeat. Many quietly worry that things might never change and that healing is out of their reach. It’s not uncommon to for my clients to say they feel like they feel too much or they feel too little and they worry what this is doing to their relationships, their jobs, and their futures.   My clients are seeking a deeper connection in their healing process and searching for a source of wisdom and insight they can trust through good times and bad. Therapy with me focuses on cultivating these deep sources of wisdom by allowing more than just our words to guide the process inviting movement, breath, and sensation to help create the roots of healing and change. If you are ready to learn more about working with me please schedule a free 20 minute introductory call.  Click here to learn more about me.

I’m very much a person of nurture over nature.  When the world is not nurturing it can really change a man.  -Barry Jenkins

What is Nurturance?

Nurturance, I believe, is the secret sauce to creating healing and lasting change and is at the heart of how I work. Nurturance is the place where we step out of shame, judgment, perfectionism, and procrastination and begin to tend to and nurture what matters most to us. Nurturance is the fuel of curiosity and curiosity is the place where we begin to find new ways to deal with old problems and uncover new possibilities. When we are feeling disconnected and full of stress, nurturance allows us to tend to and heal from traumatic and difficult experiences in a way that honors where we have been, where we are now, and where we hope to be in the future. Nurturance is essential when we are seeking change and new horizons through nurturing the habits and routines that bring us closer to our goals and dreams.  Nurturance is the foundation of growth, healing, and healthy relationships.  Nurturance is the opportunity to create a future based on the things we all need most in this life.  Nurturance recognizes our innate value and right to find our place in this strange, challenging, beautiful world.  To learn more about my approach please click here.

Any little bit of experimenting in self-nurturance is frightening to most of us.  -Julia Cameron
